Amanda Jane Brosnan is a criminal prosecutor who regularly appears in the District Court and the Youth Court. She also appears before the Parole Board and has acted for the Teaching Council, the Electrical Workers Registration Board, WorkSafe New Zealand and Maritime New Zealand. .

 Prior to joining Luke Cunningham Clere Amanda Jane previously worked in a Barristers Chambers in Wellington. She holds a MA (Hons) in Military History and Strategic Studies, a MSc in Military Operations Research, an LLB (Hons) and a BA (Hons) in Economics and German.

 Prior to studying law, Amanda Jane served for 16 years as a Regular Force officer in the New Zealand Army and since 2008 she has continued to serve in the Army Reserve. She has deployed to Afghanistan and the Middle East. She holds the rank of Colonel and is currently posted to Army General Staff as the Assistant Chief of Army for Reserves.
