As an experienced Senior Crown Prosecutor, Kate undertakes a wide variety of criminal prosecutions and professional disciplinary work. She prosecutes primarily for the Crown and various government organisations. Kate has appeared many times in the District Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. She also appears before specialist tribunals and disciplinary bodies.
Kate is a faculty member of the New Zealand Law Society Litigation Skills programme.
Kate passes on her extensive prosecution experience through the training sessions she regularly runs for clients.
Kate worked as a solicitor for a government department before joining Luke Cunningham Clere in 1994.
